Are you interested in learning woodworking this summer? Our Summer 2024 woodworking classes are designed for beginners who want to discover the joy and satisfaction of creating with their hands. No prior experience is required! 

What to Expect:

Over the course of 4 weeks, you'll be introduced to fundamental woodworking skills, including:

• Understanding Wood Types: Learn about different kinds of wood and their unique properties.
• Basic Tools and Safety: Get hands-on experience with essential woodworking tools and learn how to use them safely.
• Measuring and Cutting: Master the techniques for accurate measuring and cutting to ensure your projects come together perfectly.
• Joinery Techniques: Explore basic joinery methods such as dowels, screws, and glue to create strong, lasting connections.
• Sanding and Finishing: Discover the art of sanding and finishing to give your projects a professional look.

By the end of the course, you will have completed a small project to take home, showcasing the skills you've learned.
